Conserving Kidepo Valley
We are working with the Karamojong and other pastoral communities in northern Uganda/South Sudan. Some of our goals include the following:
- Agricultural modernization
- Natural resource management
- Mitigating human-wildlife conflict

The Child Uganda Initiative
Value of your donation to Uganda Primary School Students:
- $20 USD – tuition fee per term ($60 USD per year)
- $30 USD – school food per term ($90 USD per year)
- $15 USD – Breakfast per term ($45 USD per year)
- $10 USD – stationary per term ($30 USD per year)
- $10 USD – for a pair of shoes for a year and more
- $50 USD – computer contribution (for 30 computers)
- $15 USD – cost of a sow (female pig) for 1 family for income generation ($120 USD supports 10 families)

Supporting Existing Conservation Organisations In Uganda
E4P Africa and its project partners create long-term strategies and collaborate to eradicate poverty and promote natural resource conservation.
Our partnerships are based on the following criteria:
- Vision: Supporting existing, successful conservation NGOs in Uganda.
- Partner with small to mid-level organizations already involved with community and conservation development.
- Partners have long-term commitment to the community, not one-off projects.
- A holistic approach in investing in developing communities.
- Appreciate the Donor to Outcome approach.
- Partner involves beneficiaries and community in its efforts.
- Focus on environmental sustainability (wildlife conservation, promoting biodiversity, water projects, etc).
- Target Areas: Murchison Falls National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Kidepo Valley National Park, Sanganzira Village (Lake Victoria), Lorukul Village (Kidepo), Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.

The Sanganzira Water Project
In partnership with the Ugandan Water Project (UWP) – see http://ugandanwaterproject.com/ – E4P Africa installed a rainwater system for the Sanganzira Primary School. Children will no longer have to walk to the lake anymore, which hosts dangerous wildlife such as crocodiles, hippos, and snakes.
- 10 water filters – $750 (faculty).
- 1 Rainwater system – $3600 (Rainwater System)
- Total – $4350
