E4P Africa
The E4P Africa team offers a solid combination of experience and drive. Most importantly, we have a compassion for wildlife and people that emboldens us to meet the goal of reducing poverty at the community level, while helping conserve natural resources.
Moses Konde | Director
As a co-founding member, Moses oversees E4P Africa’s project operations. Aside from his work with E4P Africa, he owns and operates Nature Adventure Africa Safaris, a tour company offering safaris throughout Uganda and other countries in East Africa. As Moses’s company grew from its humble beginnings, he began dedicating a portion of his proceeds to community-based projects, including the purchase of clothing, school supplies and other essentials. Not long afterward, Moses decided to start an NGO with a focus on the dovetailing wildlife conservation with community support. With a strong love of wildlife and the people of Uganda, Moses is always eager to share the Pearl of Africa with the world.
Jackie Konde | Community Relations
In charge of community relations, Jackie’s passion for helping others is immediately evident to anyone who meets her for the first time. With a background in tourism, Jackie supports E4P Africa’s mission by working at the community level. As a mom and working woman, she dedicates herself to issues surrounding being a Ugandan woman in the 21st century. Her hope is to see the continued empowerment of girls and women throughout her country. In addition to her role at E4P Africa, she works alongside Moses, arranging safaris and ensuring that visitors don’t leave Uganda without getting to know the many rich cultures it has to offer.
Prossy Naluyange | Finance Officer
Prossy is E4P Africa’s financial administrator, responsible for ensuring full accountability. Through hard work and diligence, she makes sure that 100 percent of funds raised goes toward E4P Africa projects, including donations to partner organisations, funding for community-based projects, and supplies purchased for our sponsored schools. Prossy also designs her own jewelry and clothing, with proceeds from sales going to help women and children in local villages. A mother and working woman, Prossy cares a great deal about helping secure a future for girls and young women in Uganda.
Emma Nsubuga | Safari Guide
Emma works as a safari guide for Nature Adventure Africa Safaris, often taking clients to Uganda’s many beautiful national parks such as Kidepo Valley, Murchison Falls, Lake Mburo, Queen Elizabeth, and Bwindi. However, E4P Africa considers him a vital member of the team, especially when it comes to transportation, arranging visits to the field, helping secure food, beverages, and lodgings, and ensuring that everyone—team member and visitor alike—enjoys themselves.
Michael Schwartz | US Representative
Michael is an avid student of biology, interested in the study of wildlife biology and implementation of conservation biology. With field experience in Africa since 2005, he has assisted in lion telemetry collaring, researched a number of wildlife issues related to big cats and elephants, designed qualitative surveys to assess local attitudes toward hyaena, leopard and lion in Queen Elizabeth National Park, and helped reduce human-wildlife through various means. Having completed higher education in biology, he is currently working toward a career as a wildlife biologist, and remains an active participant in E4P Africa endeavors as a co-founder, fund raiser, and frequent visitor to Uganda.
